Junior graphic designer - packagings & displays
As a packaging manager, you are part of the product team. They are responsible for product development, purchasing and quality control, among other things. The product team works closely with the marketing team where a graphic designer determines the branding and creative concepts.
A large part of your job consists of designing and monitoring packaging:
After receiving the dielines, you carefully apply the predetermined guidelines for style and legislation. In collaboration with the marketing department, you provide the packaging with the correct texts and, if necessary, you request translations for this.
You have close contact with our purchasing manager & production. You ensure that the foreign factories are provided with the necessary graphic files for packaging and manuals on time so that ordered goods can be produced on time.
You can consistently apply a brand guide, work on the basis of templates or existing material & ensure that printed matter meets the necessary technical specifications to be printed.
Upon arrival of the goods, you will check the quality of the packaging together with the purchasing manager and make adjustments if necessary.
Application of the brand guide for all kinds of graphic purposes (displays, flyers,...)
You like to bring out your organizational talent to keep track of the status of the orders correctly, to follow up proactively and to inform or contact the stakeholders in time.
Additional graphic support from other teams provides a nice change, including:
Assisting your marketing colleagues from time to time for photo editing & graphic assignments.
It's definitely a great added value if you have a passion for creating playful images within the world of babies and children, and love to see your designs come to life on bottles, cups, boxes and other products
